The project objective is to promote the active, cooperative and sustainable youth actions and initiatives that contribute to peace and stability in Great Lakes. The project also supports sustainable regional networks of youth actions and initiatives for dialogues and exchange. Thus, the project aim at contributing towards peace and stability in the Great Lakes region by promoting active youth’s participation, cooperative, sustainable and positive role of youth actions, creating a strong the Great Lakes Region by promoting the active, cooperative, sustainable and positive role of youth actions, creating a strong network.
The project is still in its initial state of implementation. The project is supported by EU and coordinated by Tanzania Action for Democracy and Local Governance (ADLG). Himiza Social Justice as part of the implementers has participated in the inception conference of the project in Mwanza, Tanzania. The target is to reach at least 10000 youth as peace influencers.
